(Robert Simmons) Stichtite is a purple or purplish pink stone that often occurs inter-grown with Serpentine.  These specimens are usually vivid green with purple spots.  Stitchtite is most abundant on the island of Tasmania.  Like green Serpentine, stitchtite stimulates dormant kundalini energies, moving them up the spine, through the chakras and up to the crown of the head.  It centers at the heart and emanates healing energy there, blending the energies of love, forgiveness and spiritual illumination, linking the heart and the crown chakras.  It is a protective stone that places the wearer in an egg of light that shields the emotional body.
